Minority Alliance Capital, L.L.C. is a joint venture consisting of three
minority banking institutions. These banks are First Independence Bank
of Detroit; City National Bank of New Jersey; and Liberty Bank &
Trust, located in New Orleans.

Founded in 1972 in New Orleans to
provide independence, power and strong economic development base for all
citizens in the community. Liberty is the sixth largest
African-American owned commercial bank in America. Minority
businesses have been launched, education for school children has been
financed, and countless commercial and consumer loans have been made
because of Liberty's sensitivity to the special needs of those it serves.

The
only African-American owned and operated commercial bank in the state of
New Jersey. The bank was founded in 1973 in Newark to fill the need
for a financial institution that would be sensitive to the needs of the
community's minorities, whi historically had limited access to credit and
other banking services. The bank maintains its original mission of
providing its immediate community with services that may be unavailable to
them through larger institutions.
